Eat, drink and relax
The BlackSand Executive Lodge and Craft Facility both offer fabulous dining options for our guests. Our own Red and Gold Seal Chefs create and prepare fresh and nutritious meals on-site daily. This allows us to cater to regional and ethnic tastes, as well as religious and special dietary requirements.
Breakfast - Often said to be the most important meal of the day, we ensure all receive a hearty breakfast choice before they head out for a long day in the field. With several hot and cold options available each morning, you can find something to fit your mood whether that means, "stick to your ribs," or a little on the lighter side.
To accompany your meal we always have a selection of regular and speciality coffees, teas and juices; fresh fruit, made to order eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, French toast, and an assortment of Danishes, cinnamon buns, muffins, croissants - baked fresh daily.
Lunch - Whether taking your lunch to the jobsite or eating in-house, we provide a large lunchroom with extensive choices consisting of hearty homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, fresh baked buns and breads as well as hot food choices.
Dinner - BlackSand has developed a reputation amongst the workforce in the area for their superior quality food service. Every evening our Chefs present three different meat and fish entrées accompanied by a wide range of fresh salads and savory side dishes.
As part of our standard meal service, we provide theme nights and casual cuisine as well as ethnic and dietary choices in our dining halls.

Desserts and Pastries - Our international award-winning pastry Chefs are proud to serve inspired creations on a daily basis. Take our word for it... the apple strudel is to die for.
Though they definitely do not look, nor taste like it, our desserts are made with almost half the sugar of regular recipes. Originally developed to be more diabetic-friendly, many of our non-diabetic guests find this to be a convenient excuse to have a guilt-free second serving.
